Seeking Lead-Based Paint Inspector

Job Description
A growing, well-established, small, diverse environmental consulting firm with an established client base seeks a full-time LBP inspector. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, self-reliant, problem solver, organized, reliable, and looking for a career in environmental consulting.

This position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent time management, organizational skills, accuracy, and a positive attitude. Must be able to work well in a team environment and demonstrate flexibility to adapt to varying priorities and tasks.  Our company has a culture where a person will continually grow and be challenged.

 
Duties Include:
  • Sampling for lead-based paint, soil and water
  • Preparing technical reports
  • Communication with clients, government agencies, and employees professionally 
Requirements:
  • Enthusiasm to learn new skills and participate in training.
  • Must be reliable and detail-oriented.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office - including Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
  • Must have a valid Colorado Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
  • Must have excellent communication and writing skills.
  • The majority of our projects are within Denver Metro Area and during regular business hours. 
Previous Skills a Plus:
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER Certification
  • Certified Asbestos Air Monitoring Specialist
  • Certified Asbestos Building Inspector
  • Certified Lead-Based Paint Inspector
  • Asbestos in Soils oversight experience
